Take it or Leaf it

The fight with my Lumix continues. I thought that I had done a reset and took it with me when we visited a local garden centre which has a nicely laid out short river walk. I took, I thought, 4 or 5 shots, when I got home I found that it had taken nearly 50. I've checked all the settings twice and still can't explain it.
