Back from the vets... again!!!

Whisky had his stitches out at the vets today, but as you can see he still has the collar!!! The vet said that we can take it off on Sunday, which will be exactly 3 weeks since we rushed him to the emergency vets... I might have to bake a cake to celebrate. I didn't say on here at the time (probably because I didn't want to see it in writing), but when he first went to the vets the vet recommended euthanising him rather than treating him. The thought of putting down a pet the week before Christmas didn't bear thinking about and he's doing so well now that I know we made the right decision.

I received the contracts for the house sale in the post today. After spending ages trying to sell the house, everything seems to be moving really fast now.

I'm currently unable to move as Whisky is fast asleep on my leg (as you can see). I have the laptop balanced on my other leg and I may be here for a while.
