At Last Some Rain......

...And it bucketed down.
It was almost like I could hear a collective sigh of relief from all around as the thunder birds (black cockys) started their call this morning...then this afternoon the thundery rumbly started and then the water drops...heavy and lots of 'em.

I am not going to apologise for putting my photos through painterly filters...I'm on a steep learning curve discovering all sorts of different things.

Just as well there isn't much else to report....I have just been asked to help the boy with his homework now.......jeez! I never did this much homework when I was a kid.

And...Ive always loved this old chesnut.........
