Sundogs

Occasionally, near sunset, I see a sundog in the sky over the western hills. There is only ever one, although I know they come in pairs. This morning I was surprised to see one in the north, and for the first time ever, I saw its partner on the other side of the sun. The second one was not so bright, but it was distinct. I would loved to get them in a single shot, but that would have meant pointing my camera straight into the sun.
