What's that? Canoemoose is Blipping? What is this momentous occasion?

We went to check all was well on the river, as we often do over the Christmas period.
The sun was setting down the river and the gulls were obliging by flying across the setting sun...

Jesting aside, I'm going to try and make another go of this. I seemed to run out of steam last year - whilst I was able to find time to take photos, I never seemed to find the time to review and upload any. This was exacerbated by the double whammy of my camera getting stolen and my laptop mangling a backup of the photos on the stolen SD card.

The stolen camera situation was frustrating as I found it on eBay almost as soon as I realised it had been stolen, but eBay refused to remove the listing until they had been contacted by the police, who were initially slow to respond - and so the auction ended and my camera ended up with someone else.
Although the police were able to trace the seller and make an arrest, he then asked for literally hundreds of other offences to be taken into account, and by the time the case had been processed it wasn't deemed worth police time to chase up where my camera had ended up - despite it being due to my detective work on eBay that there was even a case at all.
However, such is life...

I've got a few photos from last year I think are worth sharing, so I might backblip them in due course.
