Ostrich
Ostrich, squash (mostly zucchini), and shishito peppers. Wine: Llama Old Vine Malbec Mendoza 2017.
The ostrich tasted somewhere between steak and dark meat turkey—not bad, but it was a rather tough cut... and I didn’t pay careful enough attention so I did not cut against the grain (were decidedly preferred the emu we had a while back). The wine was good.
