Old holiday cottage

Felixstowe Ferry and Marina, this is where the River Deben runs into the North sea.  What a super weekend Karen, Garri and I had , we stayed with Ced's cousin Mike and his wife Margaret. There is a ferry which goes across to Bawdsey, I spent several childhood holidays here with my parents in the 1950s. Had lunch in the old Ferry Boat Inn on Sunday which was an extremely hot day.  On saturday we had a walk round Needham lake, another haunt of ours, in the evening Mike did a BBQ. On
the way home from Felixstowe we called in on another cousin, Becky who was one of my bridesmaids, and Karen was one of hers when she was married in 1977 (Karen was only 4), quite an emotional 2 days. Altogether a wonderful weekend.....
