Blue Hydrangea
Flowers feature regularly in my blips because I can''t imagine my life without access to a garden and the wondrous changes that the seasons bring. I try to capture their incredible beauty, diversity and perfection growng outside with all the assaults that the Scotland weather can throw at them!
This varietiy of hydrangea was pink when given to me as a potted plant. But now it is planted in acidic soil, it produces blueish/purplely flowers year after year. I give it a good feed of compost in the spring to promote growth and plenty of these showy beautiful blooms.
