Doe and Fawn

When we leave our Sunriver house the last thing we do is walk around the perimeter to make sure all windows and doors are locked and all is as it should be. Today this fawn and her mama were bedded down and would not budge. I never like to get too close because wild animals are unpredictable, but I had to get by so I just quietly passed. Then I went back and got my camera! We are In Portland now, but they could still be enjoying the shade on the side of our house!
Grateful for...fresh peaches. The Pacific Northwest has the best and they’re plentiful!
