Rovers Return.

What else could I put in for today's blip after our visit to 'The Cobbles' and set of Coronation St. It was a great visit - may have to start watching it again. We tend to dip in and out depending on the storylines. I've enjoyed the comedic side of Corrie in the past.

Today is our 46th wedding anniversary, unbelievable as we remember our wedding day like it was yesterday, and like the weather today, it was a beautiful sunny day. This visit to the Corrie set was coincidental, we've been wanting to do this for some time, for no particular reason other than we love `Manchester and come here often to see Hayley, Seb and Emmeline.

Went out for a fab meal tonight. We love the choice and diversity of the 'eating ou't options here, so much better than we get locally back at home where everything seems to be either a chain, or pretentious.

Had to include an extra, it's of the bench in Corrie's memorial garden, in memory of those killed in the 2017 bombing at the Ariana Grande concert. So sad, and such a tragic waste of young lives.
