In other news, a quite incredible stunning ending to the third test. I confess I’d given up. If Ben Stokes doesn’t win SPOTY then I’ll eat my hat.

And in more other news, A played his first game of football for 9 months, and his first as an outfield player for over two years. And did fine. The team he was in got hammered, but there wasn’t a lot he could have done about it.
