The much trailed 'invasion' of continental based Painted Lady butterflies has finally reached The Woodlands in Linton. Our 
buddleia playing host to a least a dozen of them together with Red Admirals and Small Tortoiseshells...

We've had a quiet Bank Holiday Sunday, electing not to go anywhere apart from church this morning, but to enjoy the fine weather at home.
