The Reluctant Subject, Aylesford

As you may know I've used my brother as subject matter over the years and every single time he hates having his photograph taken. So, sometimes, I have to come up with something more creative to convince him to pose. It never usually works but I make him do it anyway! Today's shot was an attempt at channelling Alexander Rodchenko - I thought the elements just had a Russian constructivist  feel to them. If you don't know of his photography then check him out - he was a genius. As with many artists he fell out of favour during Stalin's brutal reign.
