Therapeutic DIY

The back of our house is 7m of mostly glass. We wanted a wooden curtain pole, but didnt like the look of the available brackets, that could handle the weight. So I cut a few from a local fallen oak tree, most of which is in my woodshed for the winter.

The first one took me about 10 hours to make... The rest too about 3 hours in total. I dont think i will be giving up the day job... but it felt good to make!

Grateful for time with Ni this weekend. Inspite of living together, it is such a rare treat!
