Woody and the hedgehog

Woody found a poor little hedgehog that had fallen into the culvert between our garden and the courthouse. We feared the worse but this had happened once before and the hedgehog recovered . Vikram rescued it on a large spade and carried it up to the rough bit of the garden. We left it a saucer of dog food and some water. At midnight we checked it and its head was in the saucer with some of the food eaten but it was still very still. Meanwhile we saw a second smaller hedgehog nearby.
