"I can see it keeking through"

One of my resolutions this year is to learn how to actually USE my camera and all of its extraordinary potential... I took quite a few photos this afternoon but wasn't hugely pleased with any of them. Couldn't get the light right.

But the lovely thing was that there was light. The morning had dawned dark and dreich and looked to be sticking that way when suddenly, around 2.30pm, I noticed that there was blue in the sky and the sun was 'keeking through'. (A phrase which makes me think of the late, great Michael Marra.)
