And so it begins...

Until now my social life has been a round of 40th birthdays and weddings. 10-15 years ago it was common to have 30th birthdays every weekend and I can just remember the uncouth,rowdy parties for 18 and 21. But here we are on life's great pathway learning a new set of celebrations.
Strangely, I don't think this one is going to be that much different to the same individual's 40th and will involve copious drinking and much laughter.
