Perfect paddling weather

Gorgeous weater today, very warm but no complaints from me :-)

A visit to middle son, DiL, Olivia & Isabella in Congleton.

We spent the entire time in the garden.
The girls were in their element, up the slide, down into and paddling pool, round and repeat!!

We certainly needed our sunscreen come the afternoon......it was 28 when we got into the car late afternoon.

We drove via Alderley Edge to call in on two friends who have just moved into a fabulous almost new bungalow. After a tour of their new place obviously.....a few glasses of chilled white, then some cheese and biscuits turned a planned flying visit into 3 very pleasant hours, despite being the driver ;-)

Some watering was needed once we got back home, then we sat in our own garden, until after dark, watching the bats circling around.
Almost 10 by the time we came in and it was still very warm.

More of the same tomorrow by the sounds of it :-)
