A Potato Plant flower.

This plant is as a result of last year when my granddaughter planted a potato with eyes from the potato bag, in a pot, we managed to get a crop from it,  thinking that all the potatoes had been removed I put the plant pot away meaning to empty the peat from it this year, when I came to do it I found that a young plant had started to grow.

 I have fed it and watered it and now it has flowered, it is a pity that my granddaughter has returned home else she would have had some more for her mother...It looks as if we will have to eat them. I can imagine butter on the hot potatoes already....
