Slants

We welcomed very nice guests from Arizona and Washington State (the latter a state appellant prosecutor), respectively, and then had a very Saturday-afternoon wander round the shops buying two jasmine plants, T-shirts for Dd at an amazingly discounted price (three for €7.50), Nespresso capsules and a 10-litre bag-shower for our upper terrace (no promises of blips of it in action - may breach Blip decency rules!) before Dd went to have her nails done. But not before setting me the mission (accomplished!) of buying rubber gloves, cotton balls, swivelling stick-on eyes, felt-tip pens and four sticks of glue to prepare her young learners input session on Monday. The things we do for our partners! With love, of course!
