Sha Raku En (the place of pleasure and delight)

A tootle out today to Sha Raku En, the restored Japanese Garden at Cowden near Dollar https://www.cowdengarden.com What a lovely place it is. Not too busy this morning and so peaceful. I've included an extra in colour so you can see the trees. The weather is warm but not boiling so good for walking.

Stopped in Dollar itself for lunch before home. We're going along the road tonight to friends. I'm reprising the apple and bramble crumble to take. There's going to be quite a few people so I hope it goes down well.

Preparations are underway for the new fence. Our neighbours are taking down a tree and I'll have a lot of shrub and other such clearance to do. It won't do some of the big shrubs any harm to have a good chop back.
