Dinner

Quick and easy, linguine con vongole. Too lazy to go further for my blip. Today also featured a quick splosh in the swimming pool and a trip to the physio.

I've done a lot of reading this summer while lying around on the sofa. Having acquired a taste for (Norn) Irish literature via Anna Burns' amazing Milkman, yesterday I finished Michael Hughes' Country, which I loved just as much. It's the story of the Iliad transposed to Northern Ireland in the 1990s. It shouldn't work, but it does ... see my review here. Best book I've read this year.
