Hoş Geldiniz

Graham texted me late morning to say that he was on his way, driving from Akbuk to Istanbul. Just after 17.00 I was amazed to see that his icon on the Google maps app was adjacent to mine!  The journey took him just shy of six hours. New highways through Turkey made this possible. I am amazed. Hoş Geldiniz (welcome) to Istanbul.

It was a lovely evening. We went, Caitlin too, to Dantes bar and restaurant in Arnavutkoy for dinner and then to Ortakoy for night cap at House Cafe next with its wonderful night time Bosphorus view.
