Great Dorset Steam Fair

This was the 'heavy haulage' area which was like a steampunk version of Mad Max: the air dense with dust, steam and smoke while vast road-trains crewed by cackling lunatics hurtle through the haze just barely under control, occasionally fully visible, but often only looming shadows vomiting smoke and steam. Everywhere there is the sound of fairground organs, the scream of bandsaws & the horible roar of vast iron wheels on packed soil.
