Farewell North Yorkshire

One of the reasons we were sad to leave our holiday home near Whitby was this view, from every room apart from the two bathrooms(!); and there was more but my lens wouldn't do the wider panorama justice.

We expected the traffic to be heavy but encountered accidents on the A64 and A1(M) and made 3 lengthy diversions, finally getting home to north Bristol after being on the road for 6 hours and 40 minutes :-(

Never mind, we stopped for a great lunch and dog walk near Chesterfield and all made it safe and sound. A great holiday - just the unpacking, washing and ironing to do now. I might even go to band practice this evening.
