Mr & Mrs Pheasant and family.

Out for a stroll across the field.
There has been a pheasant dodging about the wood for some time. Seems he has found a lady friend and has raised a family. (Wonder how many there were to start with?) It is apparently unusual for pheasant to raise a brood successfully without human assistance. and no one would be releasing birds here as there is no shooting - too close to town.
