The Pepper Pot

This looks like a folly but has its uses...

This Guernsey landmark, has been used for many years as a navigational mark for boats, it is situated above Fermain bay. At one time however it was a sentry post for someone from the Guernsey Militia. It lies between what was known as Fort George and a Barracks at one time which was at Jerbourg.
Nearby was a geocache which is why I was around there.
