these are the smarties i used to decorate my friend's birthday cake (before i put them on). i tried to make a cake, and when it was in the oven it looked all round and perfect, but when i took it out and left it to cool it kind of collapsed in on itself/imploded. so yeah i bought a cake from co-op... :S and i individualised it by covering it in smarties. i was DETERMINED to use my smarties (because they were so pretty), but they don't really stick very well - i need some kind of edible glue - why is it all so complicated... :D
