Islington lock

We had a walk along the canal with T, our grandson, up to Islington town for coffee and croissants. The canal was covered in chickweed. I think it was that as it didn’t look like algae. After we got back my granddaughter got the train to Angel and I walked up to meet her. She treated me to tea and cake and then we had a root around the shops. We walked back and later we all went out for dinner when my son got home. I ended up walking over 7 miles today and I’m pleased with myself as it’s the most I’ve walked since I fractured my hip last year. It was a really lovely day and it was so good to catch up with the adult grandchildren.
