A team meeting! Woo hoo! But first I cycled in past a couple of people to see if anyone was about (they weren't).

Team meeting - you know when my line manager's line manager is there, it's going to be fun. TBH nothing revolutionary - just more stick wielding self preservation. We've got a time / motion dude coming to us in about 3-6 months time to audit our processes. And because our managers can't run a piss up / brewery, we're the ones thatget shouted at.

Sample conundrum: My daily target is 12;  but now I'm not allowed to be home before 4pm, even if I've finished my visits for the day. So I can either stay out and do more work (which I'm not allowed to write up until the next day) or not go home. The subtext is that I should take longer to do what I do. Even though it just takes as long as it takes. 

Anyhoo, a demotivated team left the meeting and I went home via one and waited for 1.75 hours before heading out on the next one, as per instruction. Not sure how any of that helps, but magers get paid to make these decisions, I get paid to carry out their instructions (Topher, I feel your pain, bru)

Supposedly the meeting with the voodoo woman today but unsurprisingly she didn't show up. 

So home I went. Then out for dinner and home again.
