KORELKO DAY 29

After a morning on the beach again and lunch we walked to this monastery.
I had walked here 30 years ago....over mountains with 300-400 Greek children....before breakfast. It was like something out of a movie!!! I remember when we arrived they offered us Turkish Delight but we were quickly and firmly corrected....”no Turkish Greek delight. It had taken us an hour to walk there but with a bit of climbing we took the short cut back....but I was still late for my lesson.
We had our last candlelight ceremony to say goodbye to the last group. I found it really hard to bond with these and some of them were quite irritating but a few will be missed. All the other groups have been definitely missed more.
