Canterbury Cathedral
I grew up in Kent, moved to London for a while before returning to Kent for the last 41 years, and have never visited CC! So, today we did, and I have made a collage of some of the photos. The main section is the tomb of Henry IV and his wife Joan of Navarre. Queen Joan was kept on house arrest at LC before being released by her stepson Henry V. Full story can be found on the LC website, history section.
The diet has truly gone to pot this week, and today we tried Byron Burgers for the first time. Delicious, as was the Morellis ice cream later in the afternoon!
