The Bus

A long day.

Breakfast followed by a trip to m-i-l’s flat to collect some clothes, as she had been taken to hospital in her nightwear. Then on to Luton to the hospital again to see her for a while. We were half expecting to take her home, but she had had more tests in the morning and couldn’t be discharged.

Set off home at 2:30 and spent hours in traffic jam after traffic jam on the northbound M1. Annoyingly we had a phone call about an hour after we left to say she go home! She will be kept in another night as no transport available!

Arrived back at Doncaster around 7:15.. included a couple of stops to feed and water children and adults! But FIVE hours to travel 145 miles! We got home at 8 p.m.
