Connemara

Our Irish adventure continued as we crossed Connemara and visited the Pearl Mussel project. Another great story and lots more to learn and think about.

We didn't arrive at our hotel in Westport until 9pm and went out for dinner to an italian restaurant with our host. We had a table in the upstairs room which only had space for two tables and looked like an old fashioned library. Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic dinner, best I have ever had in an Italian. We had a bottle or two of their own home made wine as it was our last night. It was midnight as we were being served our dessert before wandering back to the hotel.
