Fields of gold.

I took a photo like this years ago in a field in Northumberland; I always like this sort of shot. Here, as then, my wife is standing in vehicle tracks in the field, the crop wasn’t damaged by her! Many of the fields here are being harvested subject to weather. The combine harvesters were particularly busy yesterday before the rain last night.... and again this evening.

We walked along the beach this afternoon, a warm breeze. There weren’t many folks around; a pair of coastal path walkers were paddling at the waters edge and a few others in the water.
