Archivists' Garden

This garden, part of Registry House, is like the archives themselves, an oasis of calm at East End of Princes Street.  

Visiting here has been on my to do list since starting to pursue my interest in genealogy in earnest and today I did just that. I had a great time discovering what happened to great uncles and aunts and their offspring.

Afterwards meet a couple of former colleagues for a drink. It was good to catch up.
