On a lighter note!

Having failed miserably to get Vodafone Bombay, Bangalore, Bangladesh to activate my Uist sim, I finally decided to go to one of their stores in braehead. Haven't been there in years and it's not got any better. Three members of staff were having what sounded like a party to my right and I could hardly hear the guy I was dealing with! I asked them to turn the volume down and they glared at me like I was the boss of ee invading their store. Finally after asking more questions than Perry Mason, the guy was satisfied I wasn't pretending to be any one other than myself!. Anyhow he promised this new card will work. I explained to him the router was in another property on an island, yet his parting shot was " it will be working in five minutes and ready when you go home. I'm assuming geography wasn't his strong point. Time will tell. Managing to squeeze a good Glasgow curry in before heading home.
