Stretching after a snooze!

A walk through Queens Park this morning with the two dogs and before we went to the church hall for coffee and carrots we had a walk round the two ponds.

Plenty of big, noisy gulls on the large pond. The swan family was snoozing on the grass beside the small pond but they quickly stirred themselves and waddled across the path into the water.

After a warm, dry morning the wind and rain returned again this afternoon. The forecast for the weekend is better so hope the grass dries up enough to let me give it a haircut.
