The Bear in Berkswell
I've just been out to lunch with some friends at The Bear in Berkswell. The Bear inn dates from the 16th century and inside it retains many of it's original beams, uneven floors and nooks and crannies. This fella can be found climbing the ragged staff just outside the main entrance to the pub. The bear and ragged staff are the county emblems of Warwickshire and Berkswell was indeed in Warwickshire until it became part of Solihull more recently.
