Maybe rhyming slang ?? ;)

I hated saying goodbye to my old boots but hopefully the new ones will wear in.
as I only do short walks these days I can change to shoes if needs 
 be.
weatherwise it started off miserable but it's sunny now and the washing dried.
I've sorted out books for the charity shop.I've enough to start a library and will never get through them all.
I forgot to mention my neighbours with the 4 howling and barking dogs went off on holiday so it's been quiet.

The girl on the opposite side was upset earlier as her bulldog died this morning.Bless it.She was so gentle and quiet So sad ❤❤❤
