Loch Tay Crannog and St Mary's church

Mummy hazelh has been well entertained today.

Our main expedition was to the iron age Tardis that is the crannog on Loch Tay (blipped). Here we learnt all about the people who may have dwelled here and the construction of their home. We also tried our hand at some of their crafts, including wood turning.

We also called in at St Mary's church at Grandtully, thanks to a tip from Winsford. We loved the painted ceilings there, as shown in my extra.

For lunch we enjoyed big bowls of the most delicious mushroom soup in the Watermill at Aberfeldy, after which we resisted buying a mountain of books in the bookshop and a £125 Champagne cooler in Homer.

I lost at Scrabble again this evening: Mr hazelh 2 - hazelh 0.

Exercise today: none other than a tiny bit of walking (5515 steps).
