Fondue

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Prince and I are meeting four friends on Saturday. Old Nick said he would book a table in Dusit for dinner but then buggered off on holiday and went radio silent. As our night out is on the last Saturday of the fringe, the control freak in me couldn’t take it any longer. I contacted the restaurant who confirmed my suspicion that there was no booking (and they are full). Now, I think you both know me well enough to know that this lack of plan wasn’t acceptable.

I called Basher - “I’m just checking what you guys want to do about food on Saturday? I’ve phoned Dusit”

Basher interrupted, “What? You have a fondue set?”

It took me a while to stop laughing long enough to explain.

So, there is a table booked in Bon Vivant. My control freak can go back to sleep.

With one eye open obviously!

PS As you can see, I do have a fondue set!
