Incoming

Lots of smoke around this evening giving a hazy horizon to the east. There are terrible fires in all states according to the news. At Newcastle baths I came across a group of extremely confident young people several of which were fire twirlers. I found out where they regularly meet for practice and will definitely go and have a look.

A lowish tide enabled me to get a little closer to this rock platform to get Nobby's lighthouse and an incoming coal ship. It's Friday night and the margarita was delicious. Still a few more journals to catch up on with but hopefully will finish tomorrow.
