Homeward Bound

After an menacing flog descending on us and an eventful car journey, I boarded the plane back to the UK today.

The views out of the window were amazing the whole way, but as we came in to land at Heathrow, the pilot told us that we were having to wait 10 mins before landing and we would be circling over London..... the view was incredible!

The air steward said that it was one of the best he had seen it and that due to Christmas approaching, the view at night is even more spectacular due to all the decorations. And he was right, if you looked close enough, you could see all the flashing xmas lights and decorations.
