Mighty Oaks.

Probably not what one expects as a typical Manchester scene, but Manchester is full of beautiful Victorian parks and open spaces. I love this clump of Oak trees in the park near Hayley and Seb's home. It's our favourite dog walking area when we stay here.

Hayley had to have a scan today as the midwife had a query on her measurements, the visit before last she was on the 90th percentile, and the last one on the 50th. The more scientific scan today confirmed she is on the 50th, so that was good news. We came home and sorted and tidied out their garden shed. First job on the 'to do' list done!

Back to the Oak trees - Here is a little fact about Oaks and the building of HMS Victory. It took 6000 trees to build and 5000 of those were Oaks. Incredible!
