A dry day with sunny spells

I had Listening Service this morning- one patient didn’t attend, so I phoned to find out why and discovered the lady was really anxious about talking about her situation. I am sure this happens to most of those who don’t attend, and while it feels like a wasted hour, I do understand.

The other patient didn’t stop talking and revealed a very troubling home situation, again very common.

However, I had the opportunity to have a brief chat with one of the Doctors who said that she was thrilled with the feedback she got from patients - so I was greatly encouraged.

Afterwards, I met my wife for lunch at the Botanic Gardens where I spotted this exotic flower when we visited the Hot House.
