Hanoi

After a very enjoyable trip on the boat we headed back into Hanoi. We stopped off at the Hanoi Hilton (Hoa Lo Prison) and then The Temple of Literature, which is where this photo is taken. This is the Altar of Confucius, with a crane standing on a tortious (one of two either side of the altar), apparently an auspicious symbol.

We've now arrived at our final hotel and tonight we have our final meal as a group. The trip officially ends tomorrow but we're saying on for a couple more nights, as are a few others. The trip has been so full on with activities, we're quite looking forward to a few chilled days before heading home again.
