Rain

Went to Druridge bay country park today, we sat on the sand, paddled in the sea, played frizby and kiedis tried out his wet suit and body board. After about an hour and a half the heavens opened and we and every one else on the beach ran for cover.

The rain was in for most of the day and we ended up back at the caravan for tomato soup and tiger bread.

Kiedis went for a swim and I managed to get a spot of birdwatching in. Nice to see a couple of female Eider in the sea, saw quite a few LBJ 's (little brown jobs) and a few flocks of waders in flight that I couldn't identify.

On my return to the caravan I had a look around Cresswell tower, an old building which dates back to the 17th century, love being nosey!
