Surprise poppies

We got back from Whitby last night and this morning I spotted that some poppies had come up in my new flower bed at thefront of my house. I've put bedding plants in as a temporary measure before permanent residents are planted in autumn and a lot of wild flowers have popped up amongst them which is great. I'll collect some of their seeds later and put in the back garden.

Today has been a day of washing and beginning to get things ready for camping at Shrewsbury Folk Festival. I could go home but it's more fun to stay on site.
