People on a Bridge

A capella

We had our Slovak friends for dinner today. Veronika brought a loaf of bread Bohumir baked earlier in their bread maker, and all the ingredients to make potato pancakes, which she proceeded to conjure. Two kinds, mind you, fried in oil and made on dry pan. Both were insanely good. We provided grilled chickens and broccoli, plus marshmallows for roasting for the kids.

While we were setting the table, the guys read a cute book about a which (titled "Room On My Broom") in different voices. I remembered the days of radio shows which I used to listen growing up. A great era, lost forever. Try listening to Edgar Allan Poe at midnight, with your small transistor radio called Monika and a flashlight under your covers so your parents don't bust you, and you'll know what I mean ;-)

Edit: I just realized I have posted an image of LM reading with the flashlight a year ago. Made me smile.
